Day 01: Yangon Arrival - City Tour
Upon Arrival, our HIT Myanmar tour guide will welcome you for your hotel transfer. Start a full day
tour in Yangon highlights. Yangon is the former capital of Myanmar and it still remains all the pride of the country's centers.
This day tour to visit:
- Famous Botahtung Pagoda at first.
- 2000 years old Sule Pagoda where contains a Buddha’s hair in a golden dome.
- Colorful Bogyoke market where obtains Myanmar souvenirs, a perfect replacement for shopping.
- Walking around National Museum.
- Magnificent complex architecture of British Colonial - one of main tourist attractions in downtown.
- A must visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments before come back to hotel in Yangon.
Note(s) of this city tour:
If your arrival time in afternoon or evening, the visiting will be delay to the last day of this tour package. All of those places in Yangon are lovely in their own way but when your time schedule dose not permit, HIT Myanmar has no choice but to recommend Shwedagon pagoda.
Enjoy your welcome dinner in the city center with Bumese cuisine in a fine restaurant.

Day 02: Yangon - Kyaik Hti Yoe (Golden Rock)
In the morning:
- 08:00 We have breakfast at the hotel then get ready for the drive south ward of Yangon in 4 hours to Kyaik Htee Saung village where Golden Rock is located.
- 08.30 - 12.30 we drive in a private car with air conditioning. The transportation in Myanmar is mostly second hand and the infrastructure is not very good. You will find it very interesting when Burmese drivers are driving to the left of the roads but the sterring wheel is installed in the left of the vehicles too.
- 12.30 - 13.30 you enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant at your own account. Our tour guide will support you to find a good one.
In the afternoon:
After the lunchtime, we will start our tour to Golden Rock. You will witness a myth of a rock perching on the edge of a mountain and you may admit that there is something on earth can defy the gravity.
- Visit Kyaik Htee Saung Pagoda
- Suvannabhumi or 'Golden Land', the birth place of Buddhism in Myanmar, to see ancient Laterite stones Pagoda and Buddha Images.
- Pay homage to the Kyaikhteesaung Sayadaw (Abbot of the monastery) and observe around the pagoda.

You may have to climb up to the peak of the mountain and visit pagodas that request proper clothes. We suggest you should:
- Wearing comfortable footware. You must walk on bare feet when entering all pagodas in Myanmar (read our guide here)
- Wearing comfortable but proper clothes: long pants, long sleeves T-shirt.
Finally, drive to your hotel in Golden Rock for stay overnight.

Day 03: Golden Rock - Bago - Yangon
From our hotel in Kyaikhtiyo we first take a truck and then enjoy the trekking to Golden Rock, it will take about 1 hour up the hill. The famous 'Golden Rock' is a sacred, massive gold-leafed boulder delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff near the top of Mt. Kyaingtiyo and it is one of the most revered Buddhist shrines.
Continue your drive back to Yangon by car. On the way, visit to Bago, located only 80 km, was an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom in 15th century and enjoy the Bago sightseeing including Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha (55 metres long), Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Myo Ma Local Market, 28 meter high huge Buddha Image of Kyaikpun Pagoda, Chinese Kwanyin Temple and upon your interest, you can visit the Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayinnaung. Then drive back to Yangon. End of our service.

Day 04: Yangon - Mandalay Acient Capital
Take a morning flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, venture outside the city to the Buddha land of Sagaing. This religion hub presents the education for monks with different level. After visiting Sagaing University, we will proceed to visit Buddha cave and U Min Thonze Pagoda, Soon U Pon Nya Shin Pagoda, Tupayon temple where you can enjoy the great view of Mandalay. This afternoon, we will travel to Ava, Amarapura to discover the Maha Aungmye Bonzan, Gabaya Monastery, Leaning Nam Myint Tower and the nearby attractions. Enjoy a walk over U Bein Bridge, the longest teak wood bridge in Myanmar.

Day 05: Mingun - Mandalay Royal Palace
Start your sightseeing today with a boat ride upstream to Mingun, home to Uncompleted Wall, Sandamuni pagoda and
Mingun ringing bell.
Our local expert will be pleased to introduce you the life of people who live on the banks of Irrawaddy River. After lunch, we will discover the royal Mandalay vestiges and relics covering imperial Palace, Golden Palace Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda also known as the world biggest book. The highlight of this day is the panoramic sunset from the peak of Mandalay Hill.

Day 06: Mandalay - Bagan By Daily Boat
An early morning transfer to jetty and take the boat
trip to Bagan. There is no better chance witnessing and enjoying the natural scenic beauty and the ways of life along
Ayeyarwady River. Lunch will be served on boat. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 07: Option: Balloon in Bagan (only from Oct - Apr)- Temple Plain By E-Bike
In the early morning, we take a sunrise
Balloon over Bagan (not available in May to Sep deu to bad weather conditions). From above looking down, Bagan is beautiful as a watercolor picture. Along two banks of the gentle Ayeyarwady River are small villages hiding in the bamboo trees. The top of golden pagodas glistens under the sunlight. The flight surely gives you interesting and unheard-of experience of the country of Myanmar.
Spend your full day exploring the remainder of Bagan which consists of more than 2500 temples and pagodas. This archaeological site brings us to the scared history of ancient Bagan capital with the development of Buddhism. As we travel further into the land of temple spires, Htilomino, Gawdamgangyi temples will attract your sense of curiosity with a profound impression. The highlight of this day is the sunset from the second highest
temple in Bagan - the Shwenandaw.

Day 08: Bagan Local Life
Head into the vibrant Nyaung Oo Market, the economic center of Bagan. At this bustling market, locals meet daily to buy and sell a variety of goods, from fruit and vegetables to clothing, china, and lacquerware. Continue to the gold-plated Shwezigon Pagoda, Bagan’s greatest reliquary, built to house relics of the Buddha brought from abroad. Next to Ananda Temple, home to four great, gilded Buddha statues.
From here, drive to the small village of Wetkyi-in to see the wonderful Kubyaukgyi Temple, renowned for its ancient murals.

Day 09: Bagan - Mt.Popa – Kalaw
Today, we venture to Popa national park where Mt. Popa is located. After 2 hours driving, we will climb up to Papa Kalat pagoda, the most sacred place for meditation in Myanmar. Drive to Kalaw for an overnight.

Day 10: Kalaw trekking
Today, we will enjoy a trekking up and down hill to visit local tribes, experience their daily life. From Pa-O village to Palaung habitat, we will discover the differences in culture and lifestyle while you are offered to behold the great mountain view from your trekking route. Homestay in a local monastery.

Day 11: Trekking to Inle Lake
Get up with the sound of nature and keep your pace downhill toward Inle Lake. This is the best opportunity to behold
Padaung, Pa-O tribes in their traditional dresses. Basic types of trades, colorful stalls and exotic market atmosphere will attract your sense of travel this morning. Day 12: Inle Lake Sightseeing
Embarking on a beautiful boat trip to explore the life of Intha people whose image exposes vividly through one leg rower. Spend our time to know about local traditional work such as making boat, black smith, silk weaving and enjoy the uniqueness of Jumping Cat pagoda and Phaung Da Woo Pagoda.

Day 13: Heho - Thandwe - Ngapali Beach
A short flight from Heho will take you to Ngapali Beach, the most beautiful
beach in Myanmar with coconut groves and Treasure island. Free at your leisure to enjoy the beach and your resort.

Good to remember - Ngapali and most of Myanmar beaches are shut down during rainy season from May to Sep. During this time, the flights and accommodation are very limited. Please contact our team for an alternative option.
Day 14: Ngapali Beach
Free at your own to visit Ngapali fishing village, Thandwe town or immerse in scuba diving in the most pristine coves of Bengal Bay.

Day 15: Ngapali Beach – Yangon
Relax until our driver come to pick you up for the flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, our car will pick you up for hotel transfer.
